ABOUT the short films:

A WALK IN THE PARK (Micro)

AWITP overlays a piece of prose about struggle and resilience. This is where we are introduced to our winged faceless woman.

COUNTERMAND

A heart playing piano is a haunting and beautiful image that adds to the film's dreamlike quality. Created in October 2023 in response to lives being destroyed, innocent people and children being murdered, like inconsequential cannon fodder. Countermand was a wish, a wish made in vain.

COUNTERMAND (verb)

CONFIT POTATOES

Inspired by the Refuge for Resurgence by Superflux - a multispecies dining art installation which was part of the Biennale Architettura, La Biennale Di Venezia 2021. At the time, I wondered what would happen if there was a real multispecies dinner party… what exactly would they eat? And who exactly would still be around to enjoy dessert by the time the final course was served? This micro film takes place decades after that dinner party.

REHEARSAL

This piece focused on the technical blending of motion capture dance performance with traditional game engine fight animations in a way that wouldn't scream 'this was created in a games engine'

:: IN A NUTSHELL ::

Flowers For Moody People's (.F.F.M.P.) heritage stems from abstract botanical photography, a signature style which captures emotion and motion in a single frame. Flash forward to the present day, the art practice has evolved, I now capture emotion and motion at 24fps via realtime filmmaking methodologies blended with a fine art sensibility, while embracing carefully selected virtual reality outlets based on inclusivity and accessibility.

//Hybrid Art Journal: (experimental art zine which lived across digital, physical and virtual realms for three months in 2022) I invited 10 artists, designers and thinkers to come together and co-create a hybrid, left-field living journal.

//UDOU: 3D Metallic sculptures question the illusion of freedom and control. (ArtBasel Miami)

//The Masses: Successfully incorporated elements of poetry, mass participation, audiovisual, physical installation, and virtual installation. (BJP Edition365 Award)
