All creatives go through this: when you start, ya love the idea... by the time you get to the end, you're fed up and annoyed with the whole thing... and then you finally finish the thing (...by holding future ideas as ransom... can't start working on BWS#05 till BWS#04 is done :P), step back and be all like... that wasn't too bad, what was the big deal... it shouldn't have been so difficult to finish the thing!
...RINSE & REPEAT AD INFINITUM :)
Holding future ideas as ransom seems to be what works for me, otherwise, I'd keep trying new ideas for the current short... and while some of those ideas could've added to the short and made it better, at some point the law of diminishing returns kick in, and ya gotta move on to the next one. At least I know that if I did want to make further improvements, I can always come back to it in the future (ha, as if :P).
05... here I come :D (yay)
