:: THE OFFER ::
I'm piloting a new animation package specifically for spoken word artists. Have you ever wondered how your performance might translate into a 3D animated audiovisual feast for the ears, eyes, and soul? (whaddya mean ya haven't? Get daydreamin pronto :P), well here's your chance to see your work take the form of an abstract art film.


:: WHAT SORT OF POETRY ARE WE LOOKING FOR? ::
We're looking for poems that already exist, that fit within the theme of:
CAUTION: MAY POP OFF @ INJUSTICE


:: WHAT'S THE APPLICATION PROCESS? ::

• Think back to something you have penned that you adore + fits the theme in some shape or form
• Record yourself performing the piece (you can use any mobile phone or camera to do this), here's some guidelines from DeepMotion Please ensure the audio is clear (aka, please don't record your performance at Starbucks). Also, if you are using an iPhone 12 or higher please be sure to use the selfie camera.
• Upload you're recording to WeTransfer and complete this Google Form.

:: WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK? ::
The alpha programme will wrap up on 11th March 2024, and I'll be reaching out to those who have been successful on a rolling basis up till that date. If you haven't heard back, please know that it'll be because I have reached maximum capacity (1 woman band in da house!).


:: YAY, I'M A ALPHA... NOW WHAT? ::
I'll convert your performance into a 3D file and will then use that file to create an animated film which will be shared with you when complete (most likely, 11th March). Re copyrights, you'll own the copyright to the poem and the initial recorded performance, and I'll own the copyright 3D model + visuals created + any additional sounds added), so together we'll have joint copyright to the completed piece.
